While working for GDC Technology, a cinema company based in Los Angeles, CA and Washington, DC, many customers would call Tech Support with questions regarding their cinema servers and their Theatre Management Systems (TMS). Therefore, I produced a series of quick training videos in hopes of reducing the tech line’s call volume. After writing the scripts and verifying the solutions through Tech Support, I screen-captured the step-by-step procedures for each video using Adobe Captivate. Afterwards, I voiced the narrations myself. For years, the video series came preloaded on the hard drives of the media servers that were purchased by movie studios and theatre chains across the country.
