Pressman Toy brought back Zack and the pack in their board game version of Saved By the Bell, which was licensed from NBC Universal. I was tasked with producing an instructional video for the new card game. After play testing the game several times, I wrote the script and developed the shot list. But instead of hiring an outside production company, I decided to shoot the video in our office studio. Fortunately, I didn’t need to hire actors, as we had several volunteers from people who were fans of the original Saved By the Bell tv series. The shoot took about four hours. Afterwards, I held auditions in our office to find our voice narrator. Afterwards, I recorded the voice talent in-office, and lastly edited the full instructional video, which was ultimately approved by the licensor.
